FRUU built up another vegan product in the face of the new vegan lip balm produced using upcycled fruit product concentrates to decrease landfill waste and utilization of unsustainable fixings.
The new vegan balms are produced using up to 60% moisturizing upcycled vegan natural product based fixings including mango margarine, avocado virus squeezed oil, watermelon seed oil, and lemon seed oil.
All fruit organic based fixings are separated from harmed leafy foods unused product seeds and pieces.
“In a Year 10 cosmetics science lesson, my students showed me the cosmetics they were using,” Dr. Terence Chung, founder of FRUU cosmetics, said in a statement sent to Vegan News.
“I noticed that all of them were made from petrochemicals or natural materials that are water/land/fossil fuel intensive.”
“The so-called green beauty products are out of reach for most people. There have to be more sustainable and accessible alternatives.” he finishes the statement

Repost from @veautyuk - Keep your lips hydrated & add a pop of colour with our range of FRUU colour balms ? Here’s what one of our fabulous #veauty #bloggers @theeveryrose thought about her Strawberry Creme Colour Balm: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “This particular one is Strawberry Creme and smells like heaven. It's a lovely creamy consistency with a real pop of colour and with added aloe vera and coconut there is no way I can't love this.”
Dr. Chung, a beauty care products researcher and optional teacher, began FRUU Cosmetics when he understood that there were no supportable beautifying agents accessible for his undergraduate’s students who are beautifiers lovers.

Did you know? ? Our lemon lip balms are made from lemon seed oil extracted from lemons ??? grown in sunny ? southern Italy. Lemon seed is an under-utilised byproduct of the lemon processing industry, which is mostly discarded. It contains up to 70% oil and a high concentration of EFA (essential fatty acids), a great anti-inflammatory, excellent for calming dry, inflamed lips. When we realised the potential of this wonderful but neglected material we thought we had to turn it into our refreshing lemon lip balm ?. For those in Australia, if you want to win our lemon lip balm plus more eco-goodies, please head over to @goodimalist for more info ? #lemon #circulareconomy #fruu #notapipwasted DON'T forgot our Autumn sale!!
