SUBWAY LAUNCHES NEW VEGAN TERIYAKI STEAK SANDWICH
The Plant-based Teriyaki Steak Sub, a new vegan sandwich that has been added to Subway menu in time for Veganuary.
The meat-free sandwich, according to the company, is stuffed with vegan steak ,which was developed in collaboration with The Vegetarian Butcher, teriyaki sauce, Vegan cheese, and any vegetables you choose.
The sandwich restaurant also disclosed a partnership with the meat-free brand The Vegetarian Butcher to provide its plant-based “meat” alternatives starting in January 2023.
According to Subway, the veggie meat company is “one of the top plant-based meat brands in the world, made by meat lovers, for meat lovers,” and that it “produces high-quality goods, meaning you don’t need to give up taste or texture to enjoy plant-based meals.”
The new sandwich is available at Subway alongside existing vegan options like the Plant Patty, Veggie Delite, Crinkle Wedges and its Vegan Double Choc Cookie.
According to Subway, the firm makes “high-quality products, so you don’t need to sacrifice taste or texture to enjoy plant-based meals.” It is “one of the world’s leading plant-based meat brands, designed by meat lovers, for meat lovers.”
The new sandwich joins the restaurant’s previous vegan offerings, which include the Plant Patty, Veggie Delite, Crinkle Wedges, and Vegan Double Choc Cookie when ordered with vegan cheese.
