STARBUCKS LAUNCHES VEGAN COFFEE CREAMERS

Starbucks will launch a line of vegan creamers at retailers nationwide. The non-dairy creamers—which are the first vegan products in the company’s existing creamer line—are inspired by customers’ favorite in-store beverages and are made with a blend of almond and oat milks.

The two new vegan flavors are Hazelnut and Caramel which Starbucks describes as “crafted with sweet, buttery caramel and hints of vanilla flavor.”  will soon be found in supermarket chains throughout the US starting next month. 

The creamers are part of a joint retail partnership between Starbucks and Nestlé.

“The launch of Starbucks Non-Dairy Creamers builds onto Starbucks’ entry into the creamer category last year,” Jason Merideth, Nestlé General Manager, Creamers Portfolio told VegNews.

It’s the latest example of innovation from the Nestlé and Starbucks global coffee alliance, which combines the well-loved flavors and premium coffee of Starbucks with Nestlé’s authority in the creamer category.

The new Starbucks Non-Dairy Creamers bring consumers an exciting new way to enjoy coffee at home, particularly as non-dairy creamers are poised to continue growing in popularity.” 

Starbucks has already added its first plant-based breakfast sandwich to its menu, available in the US and Canada. The company has also taken huge steps with regards to its branches in China, adding Beyond Meat, Omnipork and Oatly  to its menu options.
