Squeaky Bean, the company behind the renowned NYC Pastrami Slices,Sweet Smokey BBQ Chicken Style Pieces and Doner Spiced Beef style Kebab, has created an authentic vegan Chorizo Style Sausage to cook with, and it’s a knockout!
Waitrose will begin selling NEW Squeaky Bean Cooking Chorizo Style Sausage (100g) on December 28th
The new remarkably authentic-looking Spanish chorizo style sausage may be eaten hot or cold and retains its distinctive squeaky texture even after cooking.
Due to the spices and seasonings, it contains, such as chilli, smoky paprika, and garlic, it has the same unique red color and depth of flavor as a Spanish dry cured chorizo and is ideal for meat eaters, meat reducers, flexitarians, vegans, and vegetarians.
Pan-fry in two to three minutes for a pleasant, flavorful result every time. Cooking Chorizo Style Sausage can be relished in a variety of cuisines, including paellas, tacos, spaghetti, and pizza.
Try it in a winter warming chilli, add it to a vegetable soup like leek and potato soup, add it to an omelette, or have it pan-fried as part of a tapas-style dish.
The preparation procedure provides it an authentic texture and depth of flavor, since it is made with fava bean and pea protein and then cured like dry cured Spanish chorizo sausage.
Furthermore, these plant-based sausages are strong in fiber and protein (16g per 100g).
Rebecca Youseman, Brand Manager, Squeaky Bean, said: “Our fans told us that they wanted to cook with Squeaky Bean, so we made a chorizo style sausage that’s great as an appetizer on a charcuterie board and even better to cook with. A quick and convenient meat swap; try it in pasta or paella for a richness of flavor and texture.”

Squeaky Bean’s Chorizo Style Sausage joins an impressive line-up of products including the recently launched ready-to-eat Chargrilled Steak Style Strips, award-winning Applewood Smoked Ham Style Slices as well as Vegan Chicken Style Pieces, Chargrilled Mini Vegan Fillets and Sandwich Slices; NYC Deli Pastrami, Spanish Chorizo and Salami Style Slices.
