Papa John’s is launching a Vegan Breakfast pizza
Pizza chain Papa John’s is propelling a vegan breakfast Pizza in United Kingdom from May 21 to May 25 to pay tribute to the national spring bank occasion. The limited release pizza is a vegan rendition of a meat-top pie Papa John’s offered during the occasion a year ago.
The vegan Breakfast Pizza is topped with the substance of a conventional English breakfast, to be specific Heinz heated beans, hotdog, potato tots, Portobello mushrooms, and vegan cheddar made by Bute Island Foods.
“After such great enthusiasm for the Breakfast Pizza over the last bank holiday, we’re excited to bring it back alongside our version made for vegan customers,” Papa John’s UK Marketing Director Giles Codd said.
“So, whether you’re into bacon or beans, this is a must-try this bank holiday weekend, especially if you were unable to get your hands on it last time.”
In 2019, Papa John’s UK included three vegan pizzas highlighting Sheese, alongside a vegan form of its well known Marmite and Cheese Scrolls and two sorts of cheesy potato wedges, to the menu of 350 UK restaurants.
For Veganuary this year, the chain extended its choices much further with four new vegan pizzas beat with plant-based meats, for example, jackfruit pepperoni and frankfurter.
In January, Papa John’s UK employed blogger Claire Every as its first Chief Vegan Officer to enable the chain to extend its plant-based alternatives.
