A new vegan app, Plant-Based Directory, has landed on the App Store and Google Play, putting independent businesses on the map.

The Plant-Based Directory includes over 30 different types of vegan businesses, such as restaurants, cafes, barbers, beauty salons, online retailers, and grocery stores. The app includes over 20 physical business categories and over ten online categories.

Rayner Croft, Founder of Plant Based Directory, believes that vegans are clamoring for an app that allows them to find all types of vegan businesses, not just food establishments.

“We wanted to make it easier for people to find 100% vegan food, drink, products, and services across the UK, and that’s how Plant Based Directory was born.”

“We’ve recently added a very special category to the app and are so pleased to announce that we are now listing Animal Sanctuaries. We’re aiming to list all sanctuaries across the UK so that we can raise awareness of the amazing work they do, helping them raise the vital funds needed to care for animals saved from the meat & dairy industries.”

“Our app covers businesses and nonprofits across the whole of the UK, from Scotland right down to the Isle of Wight—and everywhere in between.”

Plant-Based Directory is available for both consumers and businesses to download and use for free.

The app was created with the goal of assisting independent vegan businesses during these difficult times, as well as assisting users in discovering ethical businesses to support.

Vegan businesses can also list for free on the app, which was created with everyone in mind – whether you’re vegan or vegetarian, interested in a plant-based lifestyle, or simply care about the environment and your own health.
