NEW ONLINE COURSE “THE VEGAN INTERIOR DESIGN METHOD” FOR CRUELTY-FREE INTERIOR DESIGNS
Aline Dürr, founder and creative director of Vegan Interior Design and author of a 2020 book on the subject, has established a new 6-week online course called The Vegan Interior Design Method to teach anyone how to build healthy, sustainable, and cruelty-free interior designs. According to the founder, it is a creative way to end animal abuse and celebrate healthy and sustainable design progression.
The Sydney, Australia-based expert, who also arranged the Vegan Interior Design Week in 2021, explains to vegconomist that the “idea of ‘The Vegan Interior Design Method’ goes beyond the regular interior design trends and courses.
It looks at the challenges of climate and environmental change through the perspectives of interior design, ethics, health, and technology. Students, whether male or female.

Whether vegan or not, students will leave with a wealth of knowledge about how to create spaces to live and work in that are more mindful, healthier, and far more sustainable.”
The course is arranged into six different modules, one released each week for students to complete the courses in their own time, providing focused support and facilitating global cooperation and networking. Videos, expert interviews, downloadable worksheets, checklists, surveys, supplementary reading and learning material, email templates, and a personal onboarding call are all part of the course contents.
Cruelty-free spaces
“Vegan Interior Design is for everyone!’ says Aline Dürr. “Everyone who lives, sleeps, eats or works in a space, whether they are vegan or not, should know about what is actually in the materials and finishes that surround us all day and influence our wellbeing and health. This includes interior designers who want to learn more about ethical interior design but also any individual interested in creating healthier, more sustainable and cruelty-free spaces for themselves or their families.”
“The course is directed as much at professional interior designers who want to add on another specialty to their services as it is directed at any home or business owner or design, health or sustainability aficionado,” she adds.
Interested parties can register for the course here https://registration.veganinteriordesign.com/welcomepage-home and there is an introductory price of $397 instead of $497 (USD) throughout March.
