The newly established brandhouse Carma Holdings will team up with boxers Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield to introduce TYSON 2.0 “Holy Ears” vegan cannabis edibles.
“Cannabis enthusiasts from Mike Bites to Holy Ears can now enjoy the same satisfying effects that natural medicines have given me. It’s an honor to reunite with my former rival and current friend after years of conflict and knockouts, and to forge a collaboration that may help others and heal,” said Mike Tyson, co-founder and chief brand officer of TYSON 2.0.
Edibles containing “Holy Ears” THC and Delta 8 will be made available through the Verano and TYSON 2.0 Global Marketplace. Holyfield cannabis will also be available through Carma Holdings starting in 2023.
Background information on Tyson and Holyfield
Between 1996 and 1997, Tyson and Holyfield engaged in a fierce professional rivalry that culminated with Tyson chewing a piece of his opponent’s ear in the third round of their notorious heavyweight rematch in June 1997. Following that, the two athletes parted ways, only to reunite in the ring once more—this time as business partners.
“Mike and I have a long history of competition and respect for each other. And that night changed both of our lives. At the time, we didn’t realize that we were also in a lot of pain as power athletes,” Evander Holyfield said.
“Now, almost 20 years later, we have the opportunity to share the medicine we really needed during our careers. I’m honored to join the Carma family and work with Mike and the TYSON 2.0 team to bring Holy Ears and soon my own line of cannabis products to market.”
Holy Ears are all-natural, vegan, gluten-free, and come in THC, Delta 8, and other hemp cannabinoid variations, just like TYSON 2.0 Mike Bites. The Holy Ears THC edibles are now offered at Verano stores in the US states of Arizona, Illinois, Nevada, and New Jersey. Delta 8 “Holy Ears” Edibles are now up for pre-order through the recently formed TYSON 2.0 worldwide online marketplace, TYSON20Global.com, in collaboration with LGNDS LLC.
“Mike and Holyfield are an iconic pair and both are equally committed to building the ultimate celebrity cannabis brand that best serves their fans,” said Chad Bronstein, Chairman of Carma Holdings and Co-Founder and President of TYSON 2.0.
“Our new partnership marks the development of Carma Holdings’ third celebrity brand and underscores our mission to provide accessible, high-quality vegan cannabis products for every type of consumer.”
The parent company of several cannabis brands in the US, such as TYSON 2.0 and Ric Flair Drip, the first cannabis-related product line from professional wrestler Ric Flair, is Carma Holdings.
