LIGHTLIFE DEBUTS VEGAN BEEF SAUSAGES AND BURGERS IN US & CANADA

New vegan meat products are on the horizon. Created by Lightlife Foods will hit the meat shelves at retailers, for sure at, Safeway, Vons, Wegmans, and numerous others over the United States, alongside in excess of 3,400 retailers in Canada.

Its first significant advancement in 40 years, Lightlife’s new Plant-Based Burger and Plant-Based Ground are produced using a base of pea protein, coconut oil, and beet powder—fixings like those of Beyond Meat’s Beyond Burger and upcoming Beyond Beef grounds.

Lightlife was established in 1979 as a vegetarian corporation and evacuated every animal ingredients or fixing in 2017 soon after its $140 million procurement by Canadian meat brand Maple Leaf Foods.

Besides the burgers and ground beef, the brand will dispatch two sausage flavors The Lightlife® Bratwurst Sausage and Lightlife® Italian Sausage will also begin hitting shelves in May at select retailers, just in time for the summer barbeques.

Whole Foods Market will start to stock Lightlife’s new items nearby Beyond Meat’s burgers and sausages in July.
