According to the filmmakers, they want to ‘expose the true cost of eating animals’.

Plant-based news are quoting statements from filmmakers:  They say: “The film looks at the latest science of what is happening to the ecology and climate of the planet and shows the conclusive evidence that the main cause is animal agriculture.

“The film will feature the latest research from some of the world’s largest studies on human health and nutrition, that show beyond any doubt that a plant-based diet, free from animal products, is far healthier for humans in the long term. “We will be showing the explosive and damning evidence that exposes the twisted economics in the foundations of an industry that is one of the most corrupt in the world.” They added at the end.vegan-movie

“We also look at some groundbreaking new research from animal-behaviorists that shows us how farm animals and fish are not only far more intelligent than most people give them credit for, but also share many of the same emotional needs and wants as humans.” The pair describes the shift towards a plant-based diet as ‘a global phenomenon’.

Part of the film will look at the ‘explosive’ growth of the plant-based food industry, and the relative ‘collapse’ of traditional animal ag. Otto and Ludo say: “Celebrities, leaders and famous athletes all over the world are making the switch, and the growing interest in a plant-based lifestyle is hitting the mainstream media almost every day. “The film will aim to leave audiences feeling moved and inspired; that by making the shift to a plant-based diet, they are joining millions of people all over the planet in a global movement that is beginning to change the world.”

  1. DiCaprio & Winslet are heavy smokers and alcohol users. (Unless they recently magically beat their addictions)

Them giving us advice on nutrition is like them giving us advice on morality & family values: a joke!

The underlying message here: go get yourself some prime rib or a tenderloin!

  2. This movie I wish was presented years ago. Thank everyone who has put the thought, concern & mostly the URGENCY for this madness how people treat the planet the very abused animals living in pure hell from birth, it’s got to change.

  4. Hello, i believe that i noticed you visited my
web site thus i came to return the desire?.I am attempting to in finding things
to enhance my web site!I assume its ok to make use of a
    few of your ideas!!

  5. I am excited to see the solutions. In my perfect world high schools and elementary schools a like would put a giant empahasis on teaching children how to raise animals, and care for plants. Food is free, there is no reason why we shouldnt have more local farms spread allll throughout the USA. We should have your local dairy, eggs from your neighbor instead of a Jewel or marianos every 6 miles. We can change this crisis if we started bringing more awareness to where our food comes from. Sure it would cost so e money to make those shifts but in the long run imgaine self sustaible farms run by people you trust in the community.

  6. How profoundly unfathomable that our species created a concept of animals as products that not only causes extreme violence and suffering upon their bodies, but also upon our bodies that suffer the results of eating them, and the environmental consequences of raising 75 BILLION farmed animals on a finite planet!!!
Read some of the media’s most ignored facts; http://www.cowspiracy.com/facts/
Shouldn’t food production, farming, have a mission of producing optimal nutrition for optimal health?
Yet the disease care/pharma empires rose, as did animal research through tax funded NIH ( annual budget of over $50 BILLION annually) off animals as products.. YIKES, grapple with that. Societal violence to that many animals along with wild life being slaughtered for ranching interests, emptying oceans for “seafood” which by rights, belongs to marine animals who require fish as sustenance!!! OMG, how to put this into logical perspective. Can’t!!!

  7. Plant based movie…as vegan is about avoiding various forms of animal abuse and exploitation and not just health diet or environment movement…these celebrities might not even be vegan.
