Adding the new OmniPork vegan cutlets to its Hong Kong areas is essential for IKEA’s sustainability objective of moving its worldwide menus to 50 percent plant-based by 2025. In 2018, IKEA added a vegan hot dog to its European outlets—where it sold 1,000,000 vegan hotdogs in two months. Presently, IKEA extended the vegan hot dog—made with kale, red lentils, carrots, and ginger—to all areas in the US, Canada, and Australia.
