Happy Planet Launches Eco-Friendly Chocolate and Barista Edition Oatmilk

The Canadian-based corporation, best known for its natural and organic smoothies and juices, has presented new Barista Edition Oatmilk and Chocolate Oatmilk.

Made with a base of oat milk, the impartially seasoned smooth Barista Edition Oatmilk is made to steam and froth, making it perfect for baristas or the individuals who need similar great oat milk from home.

The Chocolate Oatmilk is made with 45% less sugar than ordinary dairy-based chocolate milk and, similar to the Barista Edition, is additionally Non-GMO Verified, without soy, sans dairy, gluten-free and totally vegan

The Chocolate Oatmilk is made with 45% less sugar than regular dairy-based chocolate milk and, like the Barista Edition, is also Non-GMO Verified, soy-free, dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan.


“The movement towards sustainable food options is not a quick-passing food trend,” Happy Planet President Rex Sheehy said in a statement for Vegan News.

With sustainability being one of the company’s goals, Happy Planet oat milk is made with seven times less water than almond or dairy milk and grown with sunshine and rainwater, the company says.


Happy Planet’s Original and Vanilla Oatmilks are already available in US grocery stores nationwide, but starting this month the Original, Chocolate and Vanilla Oatmilks will be available in single-serve cartons, perfect for kids or those who are preferring to go options.

The new Barista Edition and Chocolate Oatmilk will be available in natural food markets, cafes and grocery retailers across the United States in April 2019.
